Foreign jobs recruitment suspended

Association of licensed foreign employment agency has decided to suspend it recruitment of foreign jobs until 1st of March President of the Union Mr. W.M.P. Aponsu told 'Lanka-e-News'.

He pointed out this action been taken due to the new insurance system assist by the Ministry of Foreign Employment Promotion and welfare. Which is to be seem illegal and non appropriate.
Mr. Aponsu told, relevant to this insurance system many countries are look forward to avoid Sri Lankan employees that might be loosing heavy income of foreign exchange.

Such action of those countries would have gain heavy lost of their individual business also.

Mr. Aponsu also told they suspend their jobs recruitment to prevent this situation.

Union said they demand that the government to stop this insurance system but nothing has happened yet.

Mr. Aponsu also told the special meeting will commence tomorrow (24) to educate their members on this issue.
