Sea Tiger leader Susai killed?

Eleven prominent Sea Tiger leaders of LTTE were killed in an Air Force aerial attack and it is believed that the Sea Tiger leader Susai was among either the killed persons or the critically injured. Army media spokesman Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara said that the Air Force launched the attack yesterday evening between 1.30 and 4.30 PM. Reports are coming from the area that Susai is missing now. Sea Tiger leader Susai's real name is C. Sivanesan. He is a resident of Velvetithurai, Jaffna. He was trained in India in the first LTTE batch. Since 1983 to 1990, he was the Jaffna LTTE leader and in 1990 he was appointed as the chief of the newly set up naval wing of the LTTE. He sustained injuries in a boat accident in 2007 and his five year old son was killed in the incident. Sea Tiger camps were located in Mullaithivu and Chalai. LTTE explodes a lorry loaded with civilians

Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, the media spokesman on national security exposed at a press conference held in the Media Center for National Security that the LTTE fixed a remote controlled bomb in the body of a 13 year old girl and exploded it killing 20 persons at Puthukudyiruppu in Mullaithivu district. The Minister said that the LTTE sent three lorries loaded with the civilians into the state controlled area and exploded one lorry. He said that no one had focused attention to this incident and the problem of LTTE holding back people was also not spotlighted. A journalist enquired about the details of the incident. He asked when and where the incident took place and how many were killed. Since there was no direct answer he posed the same question again. Clearing and search operations on in areas to the east past VISUAMADU Today(6) morning came across the LTTE RADHA �Regiment Headquarters� with the �Eelam� flag still flying on the mast in the LTTE complex, the Army Headquarters declared. Army Headquarters said this wing in the LTTE organization was well reputed and held in high esteem since it provided the personal security for Tiger supremo, PRABHAKARAN and his close top-rung hierarchy. Equally, they were responsible for security provided to the LTTE air wing. The �Headquarters� complex was protected by a strong line of ground bunkers. It is apparent that the Tigers, unable to meet the fire-power of the approaching troops have seemingly abandoned the complex and run away just before the troops moved into the complex.
