Sri Lanka cricket team that faced a terrorist attack in Pakistan yesterday (03) arrived in the home country today (04) early morning in a special flight arranged by Sri Lanka. Media Center for National Security (MCNS) announced this morning that the main junction in LTTE-held last town Puthukudirippu was captured amidst days of fierce fighting. Army 53 and 58 divisions led the battle capturing Puthukudirippu. Meanwhile the troops of Gajaba regiment recovered an underground bunker located close to Puthukudirippu town. Six policemen and two civilians killed A group of unidentified gunmen shot at the Sri Lanka cricket team that was embarking from a bus into Gadaffi Grounds in Lahore, for the second test. Thilan Samaraweera and assistant coach Paul Farbrace were admitted into hospital with gunshot injuries.
