Senior LTTE cadre Banu seriously injured

Unconfirmed sources say that senior LTTE cadre Banu has been critically injured in fighting in Mullaithivu. Army 58 division in operations in Mullaithivu recovered bodies of five LTTE cadres including an unidentified senior Tiger cadre, reports from the battle front say.

Media reported that LTTE adviser Balakumar was also injured seriously at Udayarkattu in Mullaithivu last Friday. He was reportedly under intensive medical care.
Meanwhile, Army Saturday evening (31) captured a Black Tiger camp complex with a comfortable underground bunker. There were exercising equipment worth of millions of rupees and a shooting ground as well. Security forces believe that the place was inhabited by the LTTE leader Prabakaran.
